Banned On R/Deltarune: My Animation & Epilepsy Warning

Okay guys, so I got the ban hammer over on the r/deltarune subreddit, and I just had to share this thing I made. Fair warning though, it’s got some flashing lights and colors, so if you’re sensitive to that kind of stuff, definitely proceed with caution (epilepsy warning is for real!).

Why the Ban, Though?

First off, let’s clear the air. I’m not entirely sure why I got banned. I posted this animation (which you’ll see in a sec), and then, BAM! Banned. Maybe it was the flashing lights? Maybe the mods thought it was too out there? Honestly, I’m still scratching my head. But hey, rules are rules, and I respect that. That's why I'm bringing it over here – hopefully, it'll find a good home and some appreciative eyes.

So, What’s the Big Deal? The Animation Deconstructed

Alright, alright, enough with the backstory. Let’s talk about the thing itself. I’ve been messing around with animation software lately, and I got super inspired by the whole Deltarune aesthetic. You know, the weird, glitchy vibes, the intense color palettes, the whole shebang. So, I decided to try and capture that in a short animation.

My main goal was to create something that felt like a fever dream, a fragmented memory from the Dark World. Think of it as a visual representation of the kind of chaotic energy you get from a Spamton battle, or the unsettling atmosphere of the Card Castle. I really wanted to push the boundaries of what I could do with colors and motion.

The animation itself is a pretty abstract piece. There are shapes morphing into other shapes, colors flashing and swirling, and a general sense of unease. It’s not exactly narrative-driven; more like a mood piece. It’s designed to be experienced, not necessarily understood. I know that sounds kinda pretentious, but that was honestly my intention, I wanted to evoke a feeling, not tell a story.

The Technical Stuff (For the Nerds Like Me)

For those of you who are curious about the nitty-gritty details, I used [insert animation software here] to create this. I started with a basic framework of keyframes and then just went wild experimenting with different effects and transitions. A lot of it was trial and error, just seeing what looked cool and what didn’t. I also played around with some audio effects to try and enhance the overall vibe. I’m still pretty new to animation, so any feedback is super welcome!

The Epileptic Elephant in the Room: The Flashing Lights

Okay, let’s address the elephant in the room (or, more accurately, the flashing epileptic elephant in the room). Yes, there are a lot of flashing lights and colors in this animation. I got a little carried away, I admit. I was going for that intense, chaotic feel, but I definitely didn’t want to trigger anyone’s epilepsy or cause any other kind of discomfort.

That’s why I put the epilepsy warning right in the title. It’s super important to me that people are aware of the potential risks before they watch it. If you’re sensitive to flashing lights, please, please don’t watch this. Your health and well-being are way more important than my silly animation. And if you do decide to watch it, maybe do so in a well-lit room and take breaks if you start feeling overwhelmed.

A Sincere Apology

If I inadvertently caused anyone any distress with this animation, I am genuinely sorry. It was never my intention to harm or upset anyone. I just wanted to share something I created and hopefully get some feedback. I'll be way more mindful of this in the future. Find Complex Zeros And Factor Polynomials Completely

Why Share It At All?

So, if I knew there was a risk of it being triggering, why did I even bother posting it? Well, a couple of reasons. First, I’m proud of the work I put into it. It’s not perfect, but it’s a reflection of my creative energy and my passion for Deltarune. I wanted to share that with the community and see what people thought.

Second, I genuinely believe that art can be challenging and even uncomfortable sometimes. It can push boundaries and make us think about things in new ways. I wanted to create something that was a little bit out there, a little bit weird, and a little bit unsettling. I believe that these kinds of experiences can be valuable, as long as they are approached with caution and respect.

The Hope for Constructive Criticism

Ultimately, I’m hoping that people can look past the flashing lights (if they can tolerate them) and see the artistic intention behind the animation. I’m eager to hear what people think, both good and bad. Constructive criticism is always welcome, and it’s the only way I can improve my skills as an animator. Deltarune Fandom: My Love and Inspiration

I also wanted to take a moment to express my love for the Deltarune fandom. This community is so creative, so passionate, and so supportive. It’s been such a joy to be a part of it, even if I am temporarily banned from one of its subreddits, hehe.

The characters, the story, the music – it all just resonates with me on such a deep level. Deltarune has inspired me to explore my own creativity and to connect with others who share my interests. I am eternally grateful for that. Indonesia's Hidden Nobel Prize Connection: The Untold Story

What's Next for Me?

So, what’s next for me and my animation adventures? Well, I’m not entirely sure yet. I’m definitely going to keep experimenting with different styles and techniques. I want to get better at storytelling through animation, and I want to continue pushing the boundaries of what I can create. And, of course, I'll try my absolute best to not get banned from any more subreddits, or, at the very least, be extra careful with the flashing lights!

I’m also open to suggestions! If you have any ideas for future animations, or any specific Deltarune scenes you’d like to see brought to life, let me know in the comments. I’m always looking for new inspiration. I'm eager to dive into new projects and explore other exciting possibilities.

In Conclusion: A Little Bit of Chaos, A Lot of Love

So, there you have it. My banned animation, my explanation, and my love letter to the Deltarune fandom. I hope you enjoyed it (or at least found it interesting!). Thanks for taking the time to watch, and I look forward to hearing your thoughts. Remember, a little chaos is good for the soul, but always remember to prioritize your well-being! And sorry again about the flashing lights!

I'm super curious to know what you guys think – hit me up in the comments below!

And remember, stay creative, stay safe, and stay awesome!
